Epson Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
If your network uses a WPS-enabled cordless router or gain access to point, you can quickly connect your scanner to the network using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).Keep in mind: To inspect if your router is WPS-enabled, search for a button labeled WPS on your router or access point. If there is no hardware button, there might be a virtual WPS button in the software application for the gadget. Examine your network product documents for details.
Epson Using WPS to Connect to a Network Setup
If you have a WPS-enabled wireless router or access point, you can utilize Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to connect your scanner to the network.- Open the input tray.
- Press and hold the WPS button on your wireless router or access point up until the security light flashes.
- Keep in mind: If you can not locate the WPS button, or there are no buttons on the router or access point, see the paperwork supplied with your router or gain access to point for information.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi link button on the scanner for at least 3 seconds, then launch it when the Wi-Fi on/off light flashes blue. The Wi-Fi on/off and AP mode lights flash at the same time while establishing the connection. When the Wi-Fi on/off light on the scanner remains on, the scanner is connected to the network.
Epson Using WPS PIN Mode to Connect to a Network Setup
If you have a WPS-enabled cordless router or gain access to point that supports PIN mode, you can utilize Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) PIN mode to connect your scanner to the network.Open the input tray.
Press and hold the Wi-Fi on/off button and the Wi-Fi connect button on the scanner simultaneously for at least 3 seconds, then launch them when the Wi-Fi on/off light flashes blue.
Go into the PIN code 01234565 on the cordless router or gain access to point within two minutes. The Wi-Fi on/off and AP mode lights flash alternately while developing the connection. When the Wi-Fi on/off light on the scanner stays on, the scanner is linked to the network.
Note: If the! error light turns on, the connection stopped working. Press the stop button to clear the mistake, reboot the gain access to point, and repeat these actions.
